Your only contribution: you only bear the costs for fuel or electricity (charging or filling station) yourself. This model makes your fleet costs per vehicle transparent and prevents unforeseen expenses for repairs, tires or insurance adjustments. Following a successful credit check, the monthly rate is designed as a standardized rental rate and is not scaled individually based on creditworthiness.

The services included in the rate are not just an item on paper. MHC Mobility actively reminds you when inspections and maintenance appointments are due so that nothing is overlooked in the day-to-day running of your fleet. A nationwide network of service partners is available for workshop work. If a vehicle breaks down due to repair or maintenance, MHC Mobility will provide a replacement vehicle so that your employees remain mobile.
At the nine MHC Mobility Centers in Germany, vehicles can also be accepted, handed over and presented for bodywork, tire changes, UVV inspections or general inspections. This relieves your fleet management and significantly reduces the internal coordination effort.

The monthly rate depends on three factors: the selected vehicle model, the agreed term and the mileage in kilometers per year. Car models at MHC Mobility start from around €350 net per month. As all service-related costs are already included, the rate corresponds to the actual total costs per vehicle. There is no down payment, no basic fee and no final payment.

For companies that use several cars for long-term rental, MHC Mobility offers individual calculations that are tailored to the respective fleet requirements. A personal consultant prepares an offer that takes into account the vehicle mix, terms and services. This allows the mobility costs for the entire fleet to be calculated in advance.

Use long-term car rental for tax purposes

For commercial customers, the monthly rental rate for long-term car rental is tax-deductible as a business expense. This applies to both the vehicle rental and the services included in the rate. Unlike a purchase, there is no investment item on the balance sheet and no depreciation periods need to be taken into account.

If a company car is also used privately, the non-cash benefit must be taxed as part of income. For combustion engines, the 1% rule applies to the gross list price, for plug-in hybrids the rate is 0.5% and for electric vehicles with a gross list price of up to €70,000 it is only 0.25%. Long-term car rental with an electric vehicle can therefore be particularly attractive from a tax perspective.

Rent a car long-term: How the process works

With MHC Mobility, it only takes a few steps to find a car for long-term rental. You tell us what you need, whether by phone, on the website or in person. An advisor will recommend the right model and car subscription based on your driving profile and fleet requirements. After a credit check, you will receive a concrete offer with a fixed monthly rate. The contract is signed digitally and your vehicle can be delivered to one of the nine MHC Mobility Centers in Germany, picked up there or brought directly to your company’s doorstep. MHC Mobility operates nationwide, with locations in Hamburg, Berlin, Dortmund and other cities. Corporations require an extract from the commercial register or a business registration for the credit check. Partnerships and sole traders submit a business registration, Schufa form and identity card.

Long-term car rental compared to leasing and buying

In contrast to leasing, long-term car rental with MHC Mobility includes insurance, maintenance and all services in a fixed monthly installment. With leasing, these items are usually added separately and the term is usually fixed for 24 to 48 months.
