Why a VW car subscription for your company?
With a VW car subscription for business customers, you are opting for a flexible, transparent and sustainable mobility solution. Your company benefits from a clear cost structure and simple administration – the perfect choice for future-oriented companies.
Flexibility in terms of duration and mileage
With the FlexiRent model, the VW car subscription has a minimum term of one month and can be canceled daily after the minimum term ends. If you want to configure a specific VW model for the long term, choose SelectRent as your desired new car, with a minimum term of typically 24 months.
All-round service without additional administration
The Volkswagen Auto subscription includes all important services: Registration, insurance, maintenance, inspections and tire service. This saves you time and reduces the administrative workload for your company. With the VW Auto subscription for business customers, you can concentrate on your core business and let us take care of the rest.
In addition to the services listed above, the monthly payment includes vehicle tax, as well as 24-hour emergency service, a replacement car service, and a pick-up and drop-off service. Your company only pays for fuel or electricity.
Cost control with a transparent subscription model
The VW Auto Abo Deutschland enables your company to calculate mobility costs clearly and transparently. All running costs are included in the monthly rate – no hidden fees, no worries about vehicle depreciation. A Volkswagen car subscription makes planning your mobility much easier.
Sustainable mobility with the VW e-car subscription
The VW Abo gives you access to modern electric vehicles such as the VW ID.3, VW ID.4 or VW ID.7, which can be perfectly integrated into a sustainable company fleet. These environmentally friendly models not only help to reduce emissions, but also offer financial benefits through lower operating costs.
Fully electric VW models used as private company cars benefit from the 0.25 percent rule based on the gross list price, provided that the gross list price does not exceed 100,000 euros (Section 6(1)(4) of the German Income Tax Act (EStG)). For details, see the Electric Car Subscription page.
Easy return and no residual value worries
When the VW subscription model expires, you simply return the vehicle – without having to worry about the residual value. This makes the VW car subscription particularly attractive for businesses, as your company has no uncertainties regarding the value of the vehicle after the contract period.

Tax Benefits of a VW as a Company Car
The monthly payment for a VW car subscription is generally treated for business purposes as business expense is deducted and reduces taxable income. If a VW company car is also used for personal purposes, different rules apply depending on the type of powertrain.
VW models with internal combustion engines, such as the Golf and Passat, are taxed as a non-cash benefit under the 1-percent rule based on the gross list price when used as private company cars. In addition, 0.03 percent per kilometer traveled is added for trips between home and the primary place of work.
Fully electric VW models such as the ID.3, ID.4, and ID.7 are taxed at just 0.25 percent of the gross list price, provided that the gross list price does not exceed 100,000 euros. This limit was raised from 70,000 euros to 100,000 euros effective July 1, 2025 (Section 6(1)(4) of the Income Tax Act (EStG)). If the gross list price exceeds 100,000 euros, the 0.5 percent rule applies.
All-electric vehicles are also exempt from motor vehicle tax for ten years from the date of initial registration, but no later than December 31, 2035, provided that initial registration takes place by December 31, 2030 (Section 3d of the Motor Vehicle Tax Act [KraftStG], extended by the Eighth Act Amending the Motor Vehicle Tax Act of December 2025). The specific tax classification should be discussed with a tax advisor.
