BMW 1 Series Car Subscription (1 Series Subscription)

BMW iX3 on a car subscription plan: all-electric premium SUV

The BMW iX3 is the all-electric SUV in the MHC Mobility BMW portfolio and is particularly popular among search terms such as “BMW iX3 car subscription,” “BMW iX3 subscription,” or “iX3 car subscription.” With the iX3, the transition to electric mobility can be combined with the familiar BMW driving experience. From a tax perspective, as a pure electric vehicle, the iX3 benefits from the 0.25% rule for private use of company cars, provided the gross list price does not exceed 100,000 euros (effective as of July 1, 2025, Section 6(1)(4) of the German Income Tax Act). The monthly payment for a BMW car subscription is generally treated as a business expense business expense and reduces the taxable profit. Different rules apply to the personal use of a BMW company car, depending on the type of powertrain.

As a fully electric vehicle, the BMW iX3 is taxed as a taxable benefit at only 0.25 percent of the gross list price per month when used as a private company car. This applies provided that the gross list price does not exceed 100,000 euros. This limit was raised from €70,000 to €100,000 effective July 1, 2025 (Section 6(1)(4) of the Income Tax Act). If the gross list price exceeds €100,000, the 0.5 percent rule applies.

The 1% rule applies to the BMW internal combustion engine models 118d, 320d, 520d, X1, and X3. In addition, fully electric vehicles such as the iX3 are exempt from vehicle tax until December 31, 2030, provided the vehicle was first registered by December 31, 2025. The individual tax classification should be agreed with the tax consultant.
