New rooms, same energy

Christin Kersten has been part of MHC Mobility since 2018 – and her development at our company is impressive. After starting in sales, she moved to sales controlling and later to credit management, where she now holds responsibility as deputy head of department. Her career is an example of how professional development and team spirit shape success at MHC Mobility.

Further training with added value for everyone

In 2021/2022, Christin graduated as a Certified Credit Controller – further training that gave her in-depth insights into balance sheet analysis, legal frameworks and industry comparisons. In May 2023, she also successfully completed her further training to become a Certified Credit Manager. MHC Mobility provided her with comprehensive support – with financial support, flexible working hours and real backing from the team.
“It was an intensive but incredibly rewarding time,” reports Christin. “I can now use my knowledge in a targeted way to precisely assess risks, identify opportunities and develop tailored solutions for our customers together with the sales team.”

New location, familiar cooperation

In May 2024, Christin moved the center of her life from Bockel to Bochum for personal reasons – and thus also professionally from the branch in the north to the Dortmund office. MHC Mobility facilitated this move smoothly, and the new team welcomed her with open arms from day one.
“It was as if I had always been here. The openness and family atmosphere in Dortmund made the transition effortless,” she enthuses. Whether it’s a barbecue together, team-building events or simply a spontaneous chat in between – for Christin, the interpersonal interaction is just as valuable as the professional expertise.

Working with a strategic vision

Your tasks in credit management are multifaceted: credit checks, comprehensive analyses, international coordination with colleagues in Germany, the UK and Japan – always with an eye on the current economic environment.
“Every customer brings individual challenges, every request requires a customized approach. That’s what makes my job so exciting.” With the in-depth knowledge she has gained from her further training, Christin can anticipate market developments at an early stage and make strategically sound decisions – an advantage that benefits both the company and its customers.

Work-life balance as a success factor

On her days off, Christin likes to get active with sport, then enjoy a relaxed, late breakfast, immerse herself in a good book and cook healthy meals. “That’s how I recharge my batteries for all challenges – both professional and personal.”
