MHC Mobility reorganizes management team: Carsten Kaufmann fills newly created position of CCO
Bockel, April 2026 – European mobility service provider MHC Mobility is further expanding its management structure as part of a corporate reorganization and is appointing the experienced sales strategist Carsten Kaufmann to the newly created key position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
From April 2026, Carsten Kaufmann will be responsible for the nationwide sales and marketing activities of MHC Mobility Germany.
In his role, he will not only lead a team of around 20 experts in marketing and sales, but will also be responsible for the strategy of the company’s commercial division.
The reorganization will take place as part of the company’s restructuring following the change in management to Rainer Thies in mid-2025.
With Carsten Kaufmann, MHC Mobility is gaining an experienced leader with strong sales and business development expertise at the interface of mobility, technology and customer-oriented growth models. Before joining MHC Mobility, Kaufmann held leading positions at industry-leading companies, where he played a key role in driving digitalization in the automotive industry.
“With Carsten Kaufmann, we are gaining a manager who brings together market knowledge, operational management and a clear view of scalable customer solutions. As part of our corporate restructuring, we have created a new CCO function in order to make our commercial business even more powerful, customer-oriented and future-oriented. Carsten Kaufmann will play a central role in this,” says Rainer Thies, Managing Director of MHC Mobility Germany and Austria.
In his new role, Kaufmann will be responsible in particular for driving forward the sales development of MHC Mobility, dovetailing processes more closely and further strengthening the company’s market position in the business customer segment.
“The MHC Mobility range is already tailored to meet the market’s mobility requirements. Today, our customers expect solutions that are simple, reliable and precisely tailored to their needs. This is exactly what we want to continue to consistently align our sales activities with – with clear processes, high implementation speed and a very close focus on concrete added value for our customers. Together with my great commercial team, we will continue to expand our market position and thus position the company even more strongly for the next development phase,” concludes Kaufmann.
