PRESS RELEASE:
Long-term rental & car subscription – MHC Mobility creates a new department specifically for electromobility
With Jan-Henrik Lange as head of the specially created department, MHC Mobility is underlining its targeted orientation towards electromobility
The future is electric
Gyhum/ Bockel, 22.03.2023 – “At MHC Mobility, we are among the trendsetters of e-mobility in the long-term car rental market. With the appointment of Jan-Henrik Lange as Head of Electromobility Development, we are consistently continuing this development, “says Johann Goldenstein.”
Even before 2018, MHC Mobility was one of the first on the market not only to recognize that electric drives are not a short-term trend, but also to implement it with the introduction of 200 electric vans. The expansion of the fleet with e-vehicles of various classes had already laid the foundation for the transition to future-oriented technology at that time. In addition to the requirements and
guidelines of the EU, the main reason for this was the vision of the parent company Mitsubishi HC Capital to make its own contribution to decarbonizing the environment. The management’s foresight in using e-mobility for long-term vehicle rentals has paid off today and shows that bold decisions are always a key part of a company’s success.
“The electromobility market has developed rapidly in recent years and MHC Mobility recognized the importance of this segment early on. These bold and visionary decisions led me to choose to work with MHC Mobility and I look forward to strategically driving the company’s future-oriented vision even further forward,” says Jan-Henrik Lange, the new, specially appointed head of department at MHC Mobility.
The distribution of e-mobility is not a sprint
With Jan-Henrik Lange, MHC Mobility is bringing in an expert in this field who, as a senior manager at Car Professional, has been responsible for advising companies on issues relating to the development of electric vehicle fleets in recent years. He is therefore very familiar with the challenges and relevant topics that companies associate with the subject of electrification. His main tasks at MHC Mobility will be to rethink sales strategies for electric drives, develop new target groups and ensure sustainable growth in the segment. “The sale of electric mobility is not a sprint, but at least a half marathon, because firmly anchored myths need to be permanently eliminated, uncertainties overcome and hurdles sustainably reduced,” says Lange. For him, this requires above all a high degree of expertise, patience and educational work.
MHC Mobility has been a trendsetter since 1959
The company launched its long-term car rental business back in 1959 with a business model that still characterizes the company today. FlexiRent – the original is more in tune with the times than ever before. According to Jan-Henrik, such flexible solutions are particularly ideal for electric newcomers, as they give companies the opportunity to get to grips with electromobility without having to make an immediate long-term commitment to vehicles.
We are there:
Jan-Henrik Lange will be at the “Flotte! Der Branchentreff” in Düsseldorf on March 30, 2023 on stage 3 at 09:25 a.m. with a very interesting lecture on the topic “Simply electrify your fleet, but how?”. You can look forward to practical tips for easy implementation. You will find us in Hall 6, Stand F12-16.
