Rent a car for a year: predictable mobility over twelve months

Companies are regularly faced with situations in which a vehicle is not needed for a few weeks or for several years. The annual rental solution from MHC Mobility covers precisely this period. A twelve-month lease is also suitable for new employees whose probationary period and induction phase should be waited out before a long-term company car is configured. MHC Mobility is manufacturer-independent and offers access to around 12,000 vehicles. Both immediately available existing vehicles and vehicles with the option of industry-specific conversions are available for a twelve-month rental.

Company car for field service and sales

Comfortable models such as the BMW 3 Series Touring, the Audi A4 Avant or the Volkswagen Passat are suitable for employees with high mileage. They combine a professional appearance with customers with the necessary comfort on long journeys.

Compact models for city and short distances

Economical models such as the Opel Corsa, the Peugeot 208 or the Citroën C3 are ideal for pool vehicles or drivers who mainly drive in inner-city areas.

Test electric vehicles for twelve months

A one-year lease is the ideal period to test electric mobility in everyday business life. Models such as the Tesla Model 3, the VW ID.3 or the BMW iX1 can be tested under real-life conditions for twelve months before a decision is made on the permanent electrification of the fleet.

The monthly rate for an annual rental with MHC Mobility depends on three factors: the selected vehicle model, the agreed mileage in kilometers and the scope of the desired services. Compact cars start at around €350 net per month. As all service-related costs are included in the rate, the monthly rate corresponds to the actual total costs per vehicle.

There is no down payment, no basic fee and no final payment. Companies that require several vehicles for the same period receive an individual fleet calculation from MHC Mobility that takes into account the vehicle mix and usage profiles.

For commercial customers, the monthly rental rate of an annual vehicle rental is fully tax-deductible as a business expense. This applies both to the vehicle rental itself and to the services included in the rate. In contrast to the purchase of a vehicle, there is no investment item in the balance sheet and no depreciation periods need to be taken into account.

If the company car is also used privately, the non-cash benefit rule applies. For combustion engines, the rate is 1% of the gross list price, for plug-in hybrids it is 0.5% and for electric vehicles with a gross list price of up to €70,000 it is only 0.25%. This tax advantage can make a significant difference, especially for an annual lease with an electric vehicle.

MHC Mobility takes care of the maintenance and servicing of your vehicle throughout the entire rental period. You are actively reminded when inspections are due and a nationwide network of service partners is available for workshop work. If a vehicle breaks down due to a repair, a replacement vehicle will be provided so that your employees remain mobile.

At the nine MHC Mobility Centers in Germanyincluding in Hamburg, Berlin and Dortmund, vehicles can also be presented for bodywork, tire changes, UVV inspections or general inspections.

You tell MHC Mobility what you need, whether by phone, on the website or in person. An advisor will recommend the right vehicle and rental model based on your driving profile. After a credit check, you will receive a concrete offer with a fixed monthly rate for twelve months. The contract is signed digitally and your vehicle is delivered to a location of your choice or can be collected from an MHC Mobility Center.

Corporations require an extract from the commercial register or a business registration for the credit check. Partnerships and sole traders submit a business registration, Schufa form and identity card.

A twelve-month lease is positioned between two extremes: long-term leasing with a commitment of 24 months or more and expensive short-term leasing at a daily or weekly rate.

When leasing, you commit yourself for at least two years and in many cases bear additional costs for maintenance and insurance. With a daily rental over twelve months, the costs add up to a multiple of a long-term rental, without service or maintenance being included.

The annual rental from MHC Mobility combines the best of both worlds: a calculable, fixed rate as with leasing, combined with the flexibility to return the vehicle at the end of the twelve months or to continue driving under the same conditions. In the latter case, daily termination is possible.
