Volvo Models Available Through MHC Mobility’s Car Subscription Service
MHC Mobility offers Volvo models to commercial customers through two channels: the FlexiRent model, which provides vehicles available on short notice, and the SelectRent model, which offers new cars configured to the customer’s specifications directly from the manufacturer.
Volvo XC60 Car Subscription
The Volvo XC60 Hybrid It is the most popular Volvo model as a company car. As a midsize SUV with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, it combines sporty performance with reduced CO2 emissions and a low monetary benefit for private use of a company car. Suitable for field staff, executive management, and high-profile appointments.
If you want to rent a Volvo without committing to a long-term lease, the Volvo XC60 subscription offers a predictable alternative with a fixed monthly payment. For long-term use with a minimum term of 24 months, the XC60 is also available in the Volvo XC60 Long-Term Rental available.
More Volvo Models via SelectRent
About SelectRent You can configure other Volvo models from the current Volvo lineup as your desired new car. The MHC Mobility advisory team will determine on a case-by-case basis which specific models are available for order, depending on availability and delivery times from the manufacturer.
Care by Volvo has been discontinued in Germany: what are the alternatives?
Volvo Cars discontinued its own car subscription model, Care by Volvo, for new customers in Germany at the end of 2024. Existing customers were able to let their contracts expire; new contracts are no longer offered through official Volvo dealerships. For Volvo car subscriptions in Germany, MHC Mobility remains a key option as a multi-brand B2B provider.
Unlike Care by Volvo, the MHC Mobility car subscription service is multi-brand and offers Volvo alongside more than 20 other brands under a single contract model. This allows companies to bundle a Volvo XC60 for field service, a Mercedes Sprinter for logistics, and a Tesla for executive use under a single contract. The monthly rates are calculated on a brand-neutral basis.

Tax Benefits of a Volvo as a Company Car
The monthly payment for a Volvo car subscription is generally treated for business purposes as business expense is deducted and reduces taxable income. If a Volvo company car is also used for personal purposes, different rules apply depending on the type of powertrain.
The Volvo XC60 plug-in hybrid is taxed as a taxable benefit equal to 0.5 percent of the gross list price when used as a private company car, provided that the electric range is at least 80 kilometers or the CO2 emissions do not exceed 50 grams per kilometer. That is half the rate that would apply to a comparable internal combustion engine vehicle.
Fully electric Volvo models are taxed at a rate of only 0.25 percent of the gross list price, provided that the gross list price does not exceed 100,000 euros. This limit was raised from 70,000 euros to 100,000 euros effective July 1, 2025 (Section 6(1)(4) of the Income Tax Act). If the gross list price exceeds 100,000 euros, the 0.5 percent rule applies.
Purely electric vehicles are also exempt from motor vehicle tax until December 31, 2030, provided the vehicle was first registered by December 31, 2025. The individual tax classification should be agreed with the tax consultant.
