Briefly introduced

Inga Frömmrich – our all-rounder between purchasing, training and fleet management

At MHC Mobility, the focus is not only on vehicles, but above all on the many dedicated colleagues who fill our company with life every day. Take Inga Frömmrich, for example: she ensures smooth purchasing, organizes fleet management and looks after the training of our young talents. But it’s best if she introduces herself.

Organizational talent with an eye for the big picture

Hi, I’m Inga Frömmrich, 23 years old and I started my career at MHC Mobility in August 2019 with an apprenticeship, which I completed in January 2022. Immediately afterwards, I switched to Purchasing. Today, I combine several areas of responsibility that make my day-to-day work particularly varied.

No two days are the same

That’s exactly what I like about my job: the tasks are varied and there are always new topics that land on the table.
A large part of my work is currently in purchasing. One thing is particularly important there: keeping an overview. The automotive industry is fast-paced, processes have to run smoothly and many steps are interlinked. I buy vehicles, make sure they are registered or deregistered, maintain systems and support many organizational processes. There are also evaluations, checking orders and invoices as well as traditional orders.

I also find it particularly exciting that I have a lot of internal customers from my colleagues, especially from Sales and Fleet Coordination. This means that I work with different departments every day and am active at many interfaces within the company.

Responsibility for our young professionals

I am also a trainer for office management. This also makes my day-to-day work much more varied.
My tasks include job interviews, onboarding and supporting our trainees and interns. I also organize our Future Day.

This role as a trainer in particular has noticeably changed my day-to-day work in recent years. At the same time, the requirements in Purchasing have also changed, for example due to adapted Group guidelines. It is precisely this mixture of structure, responsibility and variety that makes my day-to-day work particularly exciting for me.

What makes MHC Mobility special for me

I really enjoy the shared experiences in the team, such as Christmas parties and various team-building evenings in a small group of colleagues.

There are also great benefits: capital-forming benefits, an annual team-building budget of 50 euros at your free disposal, the JobRad and company health promotion.

Looking ahead

When I think about the development of the automotive industry, I find one question in particular exciting: how will we be on the road in the coming years or even decades? I am curious to see how electromobility and alternative drive systems will develop.

At the same time, I am fascinated by our customized individual offers – especially special installations for trade or passenger transport. These show just how versatile our approach to mobility is.

And my dream car? If I could choose freely, it would be a flying car – like in Harry Potter.

Conclusion

What I like about my job is that it is so varied and I can combine different areas. Purchasing, fleet management and training work are directly intertwined in my job.
