Location Profile: We Are MHC Mobility
Each of our locations has its own unique history—and is shaped above all by the people who work there.
We share these stories on our blog. This time, we’re heading to Großbeeren, just outside Berlin. Branch Manager Christian Cordts talks about a location that the team built up together.
MHC Mobility Berlin – Growing Together
Our story began around 2015 in Berlin-Marzahn. Back then, we started out under the name “Maske” with just a few vehicles and three colleagues at a partner workshop. So while the conditions back then were rather modest, our plans and the team’s motivation were all the greater. In 2017, we moved to Großbeeren, our current location. I was there from the very beginning and helped shape the setup right from the start. Together, we made sure that, step by step, the new space became a fully functional facility.
As early as the fall of 2017, the team gained new members: Kai Zilger took on office duties, Tobias Schwabe joined as an automotive mechatronics technician, and Mathias Wegner handled vehicle reconditioning. More colleagues and temporary staff followed. As the team grew, so did the equipment. Lifting platforms, workshop stations, and a dedicated vehicle preparation area were added.
Team spirit was great right from the start: Many colleagues already knew each other from previous jobs or through personal connections. Positive experiences were shared, and new team members were personally recommended. Over the years, this has resulted in a team that can rely on one another and works together. Today, twelve colleagues work at the site. We are a small, close-knit team with flat hierarchies and a strong sense of camaraderie.
We keep a lot of things here at home.
Our goal is to complete as much work as possible right on-site. Our workshop team handles minor repairs themselves. We also handle vehicle detailing and decal application in-house in Großbeeren. There’s always plenty going on: Every month, we handle around 250 to 350. Workshop orders on average, and prepare about 40 new vehicles for delivery. In addition , we handle spontaneous customer inquiries, to which we respond as quickly and flexibly as possible.
We also cover a large area logistically. Our full-time driver regularly travels throughout the entire region. Some trips take him as far as the Baltic Sea, and occasionally even as far as Poland. What makes our location special?
It’s clear: the team. Many of us have helped build this location from the very beginning. We know the history, the challenges, and the little stories that make Großbeeren our shared workplace.
Our customers are our top priority.
