Each of our nine locations tells its own story

Characterized by people, courage and daily interaction. In our blog, we take a look behind the scenes and reveal how our locations became what they are today. This time we look at Leipzig.

MHC Mobility Leipzig – From shell to team location

Our branch manager Lars Steinert also demonstrates how strongly our employees are connected to the locations. When he set up the location from July 2017, this is to be understood literally. Laying tiles, painting walls, designing rooms – Steinert lent a hand in many places.

Support came early on: Dominique Kietura joined the team a few weeks later as a mechanic and also helped with the conversion. He is still part of the team today. Doors were moved, walls were rethought – the location was designed according to the needs of the team, not the other way around.

The big milestone followed in October: the first vehicle was parked and operations began.

In between, Lars Steinert gained experience at other locations, including Bockel, Munich and Nuremberg. He brought this knowledge back to Leipzig – and had a lasting impact on the success of the branch.

Three generations, one team

Leipzig still has a special history today:
Lars Steinert is joined by his father Romeo as a driver and his son Luca, who is completing his training as a vehicle mechatronics technician here. Three generations, united in one workplace.

Everyone is aware that private and professional matters cannot always be separated. But the positive experiences clearly outweigh the negative ones. Trust, responsibility and cohesion are not just buzzwords here, but part of everyday life.

“There’s no such thing as can’t”

What drives Lars? Clearly: the team.
In Leipzig, the motto is “There’s no such thing as can’t”. Around 50 firmly planned customer appointments per month are the basis. At the same time, there is room for spontaneity: requests at short notice are accepted and flexible solutions are found. If necessary, even with replacement vehicles – so that customers remain mobile.

This flexibility is no coincidence, but the result of clear processes, short distances and mutual reliability. This is also particularly important to the team.

The location today – compact and always ready
Today, 16 colleagues work in various areas in Leipzig.

Looking ahead

Resting on your laurels? Not an option in Leipzig! One wish for the future has already been clearly formulated: an in-house car wash at the site. Practical thinking – for even more efficient processes and shorter distances.
And so the Leipzig site demonstrates particularly well what MHC Mobility stands for:
initiative, team spirit and the will to find customer-centric solutions – even if things don’t go according to plan.
