Our Team of Instructors
Welcome to the team!
The quality of our work is particularly important to us. We owe this not only to our customers—doing top-notch work is also much more enjoyable for us. At MHC Mobility, more than 300 experts in business, automotive technology, and IT are currently working on mobility solutions for our customers—an exciting professional environment, especially since so much is changing here right now. As a forward-looking company, we’re committed to social responsibility by investing in the skilled workers of tomorrow.
Eight new apprentices have now begun their training at MHC Mobility —at our locations in Bockel, Frankfurt, Dortmund, and Leipzig—in the fields of automotive mechatronics and office management. This brings the total number of trainees we are supporting on their path to a professional career to 21: 15 office management trainees and six aspiring automotive mechatronics technicians. Most of them are training at our headquarters in Bockel—where there are currently nine business and two technical trainees.
A team that paves the way
What matters to us: Behind every successful start is a team that cares. At our headquarters in Bockel, Melissa, Inga, Olimpia, and Eileen mentor the new business administration trainees. They come from sales, purchasing, reception, and logistics—and handle the training responsibilities in addition to their regular daily work. At our other locations and in the workshop, our trainees are also supported with great dedication by experienced colleagues from their respective teams.
The training team’s responsibilities go far beyond simply checking the report book on a regular basis: The trainers organize and attend career fairs, draft job postings, conduct interviews, supervise interns and trial workdays, and regularly check in with the trainees. They also provide support with school assignments and exam preparation—preferably using real-world examples. There’s a particularly heavy workload during the application phase and at the start of the training program in the summer. Just as important: they’re there when trainees feel uncertain or when things aren’t quite running smoothly. After all, even for young people and those just starting their careers, things don’t always go according to plan.
Focus on Variety
The training program places a strong emphasis on variety. It is important to us that our trainees gain as broad a foundation as possible and are prepared for a wide range of job roles. During their apprenticeship, all trainees rotate through the company’s core departments. They can explicitly express their preference for certain departments, and many find the area that best suits their interests and strengths through this process.
At our company, responsibility doesn’t start only after the final exam: Our trainees take on their own projects early on, such as organizing Boys’ Day and Girls’ Day. Those who want to look beyond their own location can gain hands-on experience at another MHC Mobility location as part of a trainee exchange program. Once a year, all trainees from across our locations also come together for a joint trainee event. And because the best way to learn collaboration is through dialogue, feedback plays a key role here: both positive and constructive feedback are taken seriously and discussed together—in both directions.
Perspective and Cohesion
The results show that our training program has a lasting impact: Many of our trainees complete their training early, and their final grades average better than a 2.4. Above all, however, this is evident when we look at our employees: Numerous colleagues began their careers with us as trainees and have remained loyal to the company to this day. The best example works in our sales department: Hans-Peter Ringen once completed his training with us—and has now been with us for over 50 years. For us, this is a clear sign of long-term prospects and team spirit. And this consistency also pays off for our customers, for example in the high quality of advice and service provided by our employees.
We look forward to actively supporting our new apprentices on their journey—and to shaping the future of mobility together with them. A warm welcome to our eight new recruits: We’re glad you’re here!
